Bulgarian Lavender

Bulgarian Lavender
There are many varieties of the beautiful Lavender plant, but one variety stands out above the rest, and that is the Lavandula Angustifolia grown in Bulgaria.

Bulgaria is the world’s leading exporter of Lavender Oil. Grown at approximately 500m above sea level, alongside the famous Bulgarian Roses in the Rose Valley of Bulgaria, the unique climate and conditions help to produce the best Lavender in the world. Lavender needs lots of sunlight to thrive, but can also withstand temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees celsius. From one decare of land, 300-400kg of Lavender flowers are harvested, from which 3-10kg of Lavender oil is produced. Almost 1kg of Lavender is needed to make just 10ml of pure essential oil. A delicate process ensures that every part of this incredible plant's goodness remains in the essential oil form.

There are so many amazing benefits of pure Lavender Oil. In particular, in our Lavandula Angustifolia grown in Bulgaria, we find the highest levels and perfect ratio of linalool and linalyl acetate content. These naturally occurring terpenes are widely known to reduce stress, relieve depression, fight inflammation, and realign the immune system.

This pure, natural essential oil is a must have in your home and can be used and enjoyed by the whole family. A few drops on your pillow at night will encourage a peaceful and calm sleep, and it can even help to reduce snoring! Adding some drops to a body oil or moisturiser will do wonders for your skin. You can use directly on the skin to quickly heal cuts and scrapes, or mix with your favourite shampoo to strengthen and add shine to your hair. Add a few drops to a bath to relax and de-stress after a long day, or add to wardrobe fresheners to repel moths and freshen your clothes.

In addition to all of its incredible benefits, Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil has a naturally sweeter aroma, which makes using this oil daily a true pleasure.
